Finding Peace in Chaos
The weight of our current moment feels almost unbearable. As Los Angeles grapples with ICE raids, protests for justice, and the threat of military presence, we're simultaneously mourning young lives lost in our community—grief layered upon grief in a world that already feels fragile and uncertain.
This episode isn't about quick fixes or positive thinking. Instead, it's a gentle reminder of the power we still hold when everything around us feels chaotic. Even in our most challenging moments, we get to choose how we show up—with love, with presence, with intention. You don't need to be the loudest voice or the most visible activist to make a difference. Sometimes being the steady presence in someone's storm, sending a thoughtful text, or simply sitting with your own emotions rather than numbing them is its own form of courage and leadership.
I share three simple practices that can ground you during difficult times: taking a breath before reacting, creating something (anything!) as an outlet for processing, and reaching out to someone who might need support. Remember that you're allowed to rest, to cry, to feel everything—and still choose to bring love into every room you enter. For those needing additional support, I offer one-on-one coaching specifically designed for sensitive souls navigating these challenging times. Whatever you're feeling right now is valid, and your presence in this world matters more than you know. Keep showing up, beautiful soul. You are here to create, even now, especially now.
P.S. Every day I am helping my clients create INTENTIONAL CHOICES. Helping them see the power in those choices every day.

This week has been heavy. In my city, los Angeles, we're witnessing ice raids, we're seeing protests peaceful, powerful and necessary. We're hearing half-truths in the news and now the president is threatening to call in the National Guard, not to protect us, but as a show of force, a power play. And while all of that's happening, our hearts are already heavy Because this very week and also in just the past few months, we've lost young people in our community. Beautiful, bright souls gone too soon, too suddenly. It's grief on top of grief.
Speaker 1:So today's episode isn't a quick tip or a punchy mindset shift. It's a moment to breathe, to feel and to remember what kind of world we want to co-create. Welcome to Redneck, debutant Hippie Chick, where all of your beautiful contradictions are celebrated and creativity is your medicine. I'm your coach and guide, shannon Noel, here to help you find your light, unleash your brilliance and shine unapologetically. I'm here to help you shift your mindset and empower your life. Keep showing up, because you are here to create.
Speaker 1:Today I'm not coming to you with solutions. I'm not here to coach you out of your feelings. I'm here as a fellow human, as a mother, as a neighbor and as someone who believes deeply in the power of our presence, even when everything feels shaky. We've had ice raids downtown. We've seen peaceful protest met with force. We've watched as the National Guard begins to arrive not to protect us, in my opinion, but as a performance of power. And while all of this was unfolding, is unfolding, a young student in our community this week lost his life in a tragic accident, and this is not the first time this has happened recently. People are hurting, people are scared and people are angry, and you know what. All of that is valid. But I want to speak today about the power we still hold in the midst of all of this, because even when it feels like we've lost control of the outside world, we do get to choose how we respond to it. We can still choose love, we can still choose peace. We can still choose to be awake, kind, grounded and wildly present. Your presence matters. Your voice, your comfort, your creativity they matter. You don't have to be the loudest or the boldest to make an impact. Sometimes being the calm in the storm is its own kind of leadership. Sometimes texting a friend to say hey, I'm thinking of you is activism. Sometimes sitting with your own fear instead of numbing it is the bravest thing you can do so. If you're overwhelmed right now, I see you. If you're confused, I feel you. If you're confused, I feel you. If you're angry, I honor you. And if you're numb, that's okay too. This is your life, this is your world, and even now, even in the wake of it all, you still get to choose how you show up in it.
Speaker 1:Here are three things you can do today that make a real difference. Number one breathe before reacting. Literally one deep breath changes everything. Number two create something. Even a voice, memo, a scribble, a song in the car, anything Create something. Number three reach out to someone who might need a little love right now. Be the anchor, be the light, be the witness. You are allowed to rest, you are allowed to cry, you are allowed to feel all the things and still choose to bring love into the room. And if you're struggling to find your footing right now, if you need a space to breathe and process, I'm here for you. I offer one-on-one coaching for creatives, sensitives and soulful folks who want to stay grounded in a world that often feels unhinged. There's a link in the bio to book a free consult. Let's talk about what kind of life and world you want to create. Keep showing up beautiful soul. You are here to create, even now, especially now.
